Technoful is committed to processing your personal data in compliance with the principles of privacy and applicable data protection laws, including the Law on Personal Data Protection No. 6698 and relevant regulations. Additionally, where applicable, this policy addresses the rights and protections afforded by the General Data Protection Regulation 2016/679. Our Privacy policy applies to all users and others who access the App (“Users”, “You”).

To begin using the app, all we need from you is to select your goals. Following that, we could also need your location as well as details about your plants. In addition, we automatically obtain data from your device's operating system. These data include hardware ID, Facebook ID, IP address, time zone, device type and model, device settings, operating system, internet service provider, and mobile operator. We also collect data from other unique identifiers. This data is needed to be able to deliver our products and services, monitor user behavior on the app, and offer advertisements.

As the “Data Controller,” Technoful may process the personal data that you provide to us or that we obtain through external sources. This process will be:

In addition, your data may be shared with other parties both domestically and abroad as long as it complies with applicable legal requirements and, if needed, has your clear approval.

We collect data either you gave us voluntarily (email, name, last name, date of birth) or automatically (Session data, IP address, The Identifier for Advertisers-IDFA, The Identifier for Vendors-IDVF, etc.)

● 2.1 Data provided by users:
To initiate the use of the App, you will be required to provide information regarding your goals for using the Plantful App. After that, we may request additional details about your plants and seek permission to access your camera. This is to facilitate plant identification and provide the best plant care recommendations.

Access to your geolocation may be requested to better assess regional weather conditions, daylight hours, and other environmental factors. These details are collected because they may influence plant care recommendations.

Other data provided by users are as such: Text, queries, materials, photographs, photos, videos, visual and audio records, posts, conversations, comments, information, phrases, entries, images, and any other type of content, record, or data that you submit, upload, transmit, produce, save, use, edit, or communicate with Plantful or through it.

● 2.2 Data processed automatically by us or third parties:
To provide and improve our services, Technoful automatically collects the following types of data:

Customer Journey: We gather information about how you found us, including the referring app or URL, and the app or website where you interacted with our advertisement.

Device and Location: This type of data is gathered from your mobile device, including operating system, hardware ID, Facebook ID, IP address, time zone, device type and model, Internet service provider, and mobile operator.

App Usage: Your Plantful App usage data is collected via analytics tools, including the features and content you interact with. Some examples are frequency, duration, and number of sessions you use it.

Advertising IDs: We gather identifiers, including the Google Advertising ID (AAID) and Apple Identifier for Advertising (IDFA), for the purpose of advertising. You can clear these choices by going into the settings on your device.

Third-Party Data Processing: With user permission, third-party tools are in use by our team. This tool helps us to automate data processing technologies to analyze information sent by your device. This ensures a better understanding of personal preferences, interests, and behaviors. This data processing begins once you permit Plantful App to track your activity. A user can withdraw this permission at any time.

Device and User Behavior Information: We may process device details and user behavior data based on our interests. This generally non-personal and aggregated data helps us improve the App and its user experience:

Device: Details such as device type, operating system, model, screen size, and memory usage. Internet Connection: Information on network provider, IP address, session duration, and browser details. Location: Data related to IP address, country code, and language settings. Cookies and Similar Technologies: Cookies and similar tools are used to better analyze App usage and improve marketing activities. Cookies may also be in use for targeted advertisements. Payment: For Plantful in-app purchases, payment partners provide support for the billing and payment process. This involvement maintains the security of your payment information. We do not access or use any of your credit or debit card details.

Email Communications: If you sign in with Apple, Google, or Facebook, we may use your email address to send newsletters for Technoful App updates, special offers, and new features. You can opt out of these emails at any time via the unsubscribe link provided in each email. If you choose “Sign In with Apple,” you can either share your email or use a private email address provided by Apple.

Mentioned customer data can be collected directly from you through electronic or physical mediums, your mobile device, third-party applications, or third-party sources like Google Play Store or Apple Store by complying with legal obligations to improve our services, and manage your use of them.

Your log data generated while utilizing our applications and services via our products or third-party goods may be collected by us. This log data might contain details like the IP address, name, and operating system version of your device, the configuration of the program when you use our service or application, the time and date you used it, and other statistics.

Our mission is to continually enhance Plantful App and deliver new and enriching experiences to users. To achieve this, we utilize customer data for the following purposes:

3.1 Provide better user experience and customization: We use functional information and automatically processed data to deliver the services you request and to enhance your overall experience with Plantful App.

To host personal data and improve the operation and distribution of our App, we utilize Amazon Web Services and Google Cloud for hosting and backend support. Additionally, we use Firebase Performance Monitoring and Firebase Crash Reporting by Google to monitor and enhance app performance. We also process your customer data to personalize the content of the Plantful App and provide offers tailored to your preferences. This may include creating customized plant care tips and helping users to keep track of plant care.

Automatically gathered data is also used to analyze user behavior and trends. Customer data may be used to identify potential improvements of the Plantful app and to protect, improve, and optimize it.

3.2 Provide interest-based communication and targeted advertising:
Interest-based advertisements may be delivered through communication channels using automatically analyzed data. As a result of this, Technoful is able to provide tailored content and targeted online ads, among other promotional messages.

Push notifications are used to inform Plantful users about new features, special offers, or updates related to the App. For instance, reminders for plant care tasks may be sent. Date, time and push notification open rate and interaction rate data may be tracked and collected. You can disable these notifications by adjusting the settings on your device. Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, Firebase Notifications, and Apple Notifications services are used for push notifications. Users may visit these platforms for privacy policies of these tools. 3.3 Research and Analyze Customer Use of the Service, Plantful App:
This information is useful in understanding business performance, analyzing operations, and improving the App and its features. It is used for statistical analysis, product development, and improvement. By examining user preferences and behavior, decisions are made to refine and innovate the App.

Adjust is a technology that is used to explore and research how customers engage with Plantful App. This tool helps the Technoful team to understand how users discover Plantful and identify which advertisers or campaigns brought more downloads to Plantful. Meta Analytics tools are also used for various analytical purposes. Demographic insights, user purchase frequency, and various interactions are provided by Meta Analytics.

Amplitude and Firebase Analytics are also used for customer analytics purposes. Both of them are used to better understand how customers use our services. They collect various technical data like device type, behavior, time zone, IDFA, etc.

Adapty is also another service provider for Technoful in terms of paywall building and A/B testing. Adapty offers various paywall templates and provides A/B test opportunities for a better user experience. Customer data for these features are collected and analyzed for further improvements.

To facilitate the operation, improvement, and support of our Service as well as to deliver customized and targeted advertising, we may share your information with third parties. This includes disclosing specific personal information to entities listed in this privacy policy. Outside partners help us with things like advertising, service delivery, and data processing technologies.

We collaborate with outside parties who have promised to put in place the proper organizational and technical safeguards to protect your personal information. We work hard to make sure these parties manage your data properly, but we are unable to assure that the information you send them will be completely secure.
